These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Chain Tree website and application (the "Service"), operated by Etajima Ventures LLC ("Etajima Ventures," "Chain Tree," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This is a preliminary draft provided as a general reference and is subject to legal review and revision.

1. The Service

Chain Tree provides estimated ecommerce revenue, product, and supplier/manufacturer information for Shopify stores, derived from publicly available storefront data and public shipping/customs records. Data shown in the Service is provided for informational purposes and reflects estimates and inferences, not verified or audited figures.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-export, resell, or redistribute data from the Service except as reasonably needed for your own internal business use
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or take adverse action against any individual
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or paywalls
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

5. Data accuracy disclaimer

REVENUE ESTIMATES, SUPPLIER/MANUFACTURER MAPPINGS, AND OTHER DATA PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE ESTIMATES AND INFERENCES BASED ON PUBLICLY AVAILABLE INFORMATION. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY DATA. THE SERVICE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR AUDITED FINANCIAL, LEGAL, OR SOURCING DUE DILIGENCE, AND SHOULD NOT BE THE SOLE BASIS FOR ANY BUSINESS, INVESTMENT, OR LEGAL DECISION.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and compiled datasets, is owned by Etajima Ventures LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ETAJIMA VENTURES LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

9. Governing law
